All I Want For Memorial Day is His Two Bottom Teeth

Mommy Says:

Better late than never, right?

It's been a stretch to find time to post pictures and updates of our Memorial Day weekend since the majority of it (and the rest of this week) was spent utilizing my hand as a human teething ring and my hip as an improvised baby seat. Typing is surprisingly difficult with one hand in your child's mouth for 90% of the day.

Good news is-I see the pearly whites finally peaking out-that should mean the fussiness stops soon, right? (RIGHT? Someone please save my sanity and tell me I'm right.)

We did manage to have a wonderful weekend with friends and family despite the general teething crankiness.

We took Tyson on his first boat ride. He would have preferred to drive the boat himself, but the whole seeing over the wheel thing managed to get in the way. He loved the speed, the bumps, and the waves, but hated the life jacket.
I could totally use that life jacket as a booster seat and take you for a spin.

We went swimming in the pool. Tyson discovered how to splash which is totally awesome. I'm not sure why we worked so hard to teach him that. Note to self for next baby-blowing bubbles would be a better first pool skill.

If I kick hard enough, I bet I could splash water in Daddy's eyes.

We played with friends. By the way, are arranged marriages in the US legal? Cause I'd be totally fine with a cute daughter-in-law like that. PLUS she's way smart, already has her two bottom teeth, and says, "Dadda." Impressive, huh?

I probably should learn to sit up on my own before I go on my first date.

And we managed to sneak in a little family time together too.

It just doesn't get any better than this.

We had a wonderful weekend. Hope yours was great too!
