Mommy Says:
Last night I laid with a 20 pound ten month old draped across my body for most of the night. Notice I said laid-not slept. He snored louder than Daddy. If he wasn't snoring he was crying. When he woke up the pile of drool and snot on my shoulder was monumental.
This morning I've cleaned two poopy diapers. They were impressive. It's only 9 AM. Then I got puked on. Projectile style.
Being a Mommy is hard.
Being a sick baby is even harder.
Being a Mommy watching her sick baby is perhaps the hardest of all.
Here's to hoping this winter cold & flu season takes it easy on all of us.
